Had more then one nest of wasps around my house this summer. Nasty little things. Only got stung once but boy does it hurt. Anyway SVG, in Inkscape. use a ref image from wiki commons. can be found here

Inkscape 0.48 has been released. Whole lot of awesome new stuff in this one, notes on it can be found here.

I have yet to dive deep into this release so I can’t speak on the new features yet or give a review. But I can say that the Wacom issues with the previous release are gone. So just getting it up and going was expeditious. If you have never given Inkscape a try, now would be darn fine time to give it a go.

This angry little guy has been hanging outside my work, building himself a new nest on our steel scrap recycling bin. Pretty sure she (I think it’s a she, as it has a stinger) has no ideas that the bin securing it’s new home will be hauled away soon. And I don’t know if she would even care. I’ve taken a hand full of pictures of her handy work to remember her once it’s gone. Like vacation postcards.
